8. THAT OLD SUITCASE

Every house has an empty corner somewhere. You don't know what to place there: maybe a chair? A big vase with flowers or maybe you need to leave it without anything. Difficult isn't it? I know the struggle, especially once the holiday season is over and I'm removing the Christmas tree in my dining room. If I could, I would keep the tree there for the whole year just to avoid an empty corner but that's not reality. So after a bit of thinking and putting some accessories together, I created a nice little cornor with an old suitcase and cushions to reflect the coziness I like to have in each room.

The whole house has a mix of modern and old things. For example the chimney, doors and porch have been renovated but kept in it's original way. So with the more modern furniture and decoration pieces there's a nice balance between the two and I simply love it.

What do you think of this idea to storage your blankets in?
