Spring is around the corner, well at least we hope it shows up as soon as possible, so it's time to prepare our homes for the new season as well. A typical 'thing' or weekend we organize during that time is 'spring cleaning'. We throw out all the old and unnecessary stuff like old magazines, papers and even clothes. After that the whole house gets a full water cleaning and than it's time to reorganize the rooms.

After a big clean up it's always the perfect time to change little things in your interior that became too old to use, or which were broken. Maybe a new layer of paint will help to refresh your home as well? And that's where we will starting to talk about the color pink. Even though it's associated as a typical feminine color or to old bathrooms, pink can also bring a lot of good vibes to a room and can easily be combinated with other shades such as red, green or blue. And ofcourse with minimalistic colors or wood related touches as well. To prove you that I assembled some inspirational pictures found on Pinterest.

The easiest way to work is to add one piece of furniture as an eyecatcher into the room, or to work with accessories like cushions, flower pots, rugs, or a dining set. But if you really like to stand out you can pick one wall in the room to paint in pink. Thanks to the hundreds of different shades you can go from a soft subtle approach to a bright and eye popping shade such as fuchsia. It's all up to you. But defenitely let me know if you got some pink at home as well!
